Privacy

Contact form
Submitting the contact form sends your name, work email address, organisation and message to us by email. We keep a record that a message arrived and whether it has been handled; we do not store the text of the message itself. That record is deleted after 90 days.
Newsletter
The newsletter uses double opt-in: after subscribing you receive a confirmation email, valid for seven days, and your address is only marked confirmed once you use that link. Every newsletter carries a working one-click unsubscribe link, which takes effect immediately. We delete an unsubscribed address 30 days after you unsubscribe.
Conference registration and survey
Registering for a Bazzi roundtable processes your name, work email address, organisation, role, any topics you would like addressed, and whether you have dietary requirements (a yes/no checkbox; the detail is handled by email or at check-in, not collected here). Consent to be contacted about the event and consent to the newsletter are collected separately, both unticked by default. A survey offered after the event is optional, and its link expires 90 days after the event. We delete a registration, and any survey response linked to it, 12 months after the event it was for, or, for an event with no confirmed date yet, 24 months after you registered.
Login security
Every attempt to sign in to the site’s administrative area is recorded together with the IP address it came from, which is personal data, so that we can detect and lock out repeated failed attempts. This record is deleted after 30 days.
Cookies and analytics
No non-essential cookie is set before you consent. With your consent, we use cookieless analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand which pages are read. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie with a version and timestamp, and can be changed at any time through “Cookie preferences” in the footer. The record of that choice is deleted after 24 months.
Your rights
